Q. I've never danced before, what is the first step?
A. Good news! You've already taken the first step by researching! Next, we would like to invite you to take advantage of our free dance consultation. A free dance consultation is an invaluable opportunity to "try before you buy." It gives you the opportunity to try out your dancing skills in a safe and friendly environment, meet our staff, ask other students of their experiences at our studio and learn to dance. As well, a free dance consultation gives us the opportunity to learn about your goals in dancing, assess your learning style, and determine the best, fastest and easiest way to help you reach your dancing goals.
Q. What should I wear to a dance lesson?
For the best dance experience possible. When choosing your clothes, consider wearing something comfortable that you can easily move in with little or no restrictions. Make sure that you can raise your arms above your head without any problems. Your pants/skirt should be loose enough to make large steps. Also, out of respect for those with allergies, we ask that you refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes or scented lotions.
Q. Do I need special shoes?
A. For the best dance experience possible, we recommend ballroom dance shoes. Ballroom dance shoes have suede soles that give you just the right amount of grip on the dance floor. If you're just beginning and want to wait before investing in ballroom dance shoes, please keep in mind that the soles of your shoes should be somewhat slick so that you can spin on the dance floor...rubber soles are not recommended.

Q. Do I need a partner to participate?
A. No, you do not need a partner for group or private lessons. However, you may bring a partner if you desire. The only time a partner is required is for our aerial workshops.

Q. Do you teach children?
A. Yes, We teach all ages! We even offer special classes for children.
Q. Can I practice at your dance studio even if I'm not in a lesson?
A.. We allow all members to practice in the studio anytime during our business hours with prior notice. If you are not a member, we may ask you to pay a small fee.
Q. How long will it take me to learn to dance?
